Daufuskie Island is only accessible by passenger ferry. Leave your car and your worries on Hilton head in a secure lot. There are 2 ferry services to the Island or you may travel by private boat. Each Plantation offers their own service. Haig Point Plantation Ferry Service:This ferry used for those renting in Haig Point Plantation. 30 minute ferry with service most hours from Hilton Head. Embarkation located off of Palmetto Bay Road from the Cross island Parkway. Ferry leaves :30 past most hours between 6:30 and 10:30 pm but contact for schedule. Additional ferry can be requested after hours call for information. Melrose/Bloody Point Daufuskie Resort:This ferry will be used by those renting in Melrose or Bloody Point Plantation. 45 minute passenger ferry.
